Arthur Vient (1953-1999)
was born in Santa Monica California.
He lived his life creating works of art and cartoons in a unique style all his own.
Arthur has published some of his comics and other works he had done beginning in the early 1970's.
A Vietnam era veteran and a wonderful father and husband aside from being an excellent artist, he loved history, culture, art, reading and many other subjects and he was a man full of natural talent, vision and intelligence. He earned an associates degree in the humanities.
He recieved awards throughout his time at school, and while in the Navy he was commissioned by them in creating various illustrations.
His personality was calm, very funny, full of life and just a great person to be around. He was an intellectual as well as a free spirit that loved his Harley-Davidson. In the end he was a true believer in Jesus and that shown in his daily life in how he treated people and in how much faith he did have in God while battling pancreatic cancer bravely which eventually took his life. He had left many, many friends and family that miss him very much.
