Sarah Ghanooni Acrylics painting, Mixed Media

I grew up in Bellevue, Washington, born August 25th, 1986. Art has
always been a passion of mine whether its painting, drawing,
designing, music. I grew up from a diverse background of Middle-Eastern and Mexican heritage. From an early age I learned about artists like Monet, Van Gogh, and Picasso and they definitely played a part in me wanting to be an artist and influenced my impressionist style. I use very big brushstrokes and try not to get caught up in all the little details, which can be more freeing. I take my inspiration from nature, dance, and music. Through the brushstrokes I can express what I cannot always say.
