Rosetta Bentz Painting Landscapes
I am a New York-based artist and paint abstracted landscapes. My main medium is oil, but I like to also incorporate acrylics and pastels. My other loves are collage, printmaking, papermaking and pottery. I regularly exhibit locally and nationally and am involved in many artists organizations. My method of creating is invoking memories of nature and translating them onto my surface. I like the challenge of working on different surface -- canvas, wood, aluminum and linoleum. Experimentation is a large part of my process. I like to think that there are no accidents in life or in art. I am continually expanding in my consciousness, in my growth personally, professionally and artistically.
