Guy Baldovi Oil Painting
Most of my work, I would consider, lyrical and sensual in content, color and shapes, with some forays into the darker side of my imagination.
I am generally inspired by music, words, nature, "politics", but even when I paint in series, each piece, I hope has a life of its own. I am trying to convey a feeling more than an actual representation.
Even though, I have been involved in
various art forms, from comic books to photography, sculpture,
furniture design, painting is the art medium that has been most
rewarding (and challenging). Here I can let my imagination run free.
