Current Works:
ARTISIC HEALING: My current work involves the emotions surrounding Artistic Healing. I turned to my art to help me through a recent life-threatening medical ordeal. I was able to visually translate my fears and joys into a series of forty-three drawings and two paintings. I believe that it is a powerful and thought-provoking series, and I would like to share my visual journey with as many people as possible. It is my hope that others will be able to face their own fears and discover new joys by studying these works of art. The series of drawings read like sentences. There will be several series each having a color name. The frist series is "The Purple Series" They are matted in groups of threes and fives for a total of fifteen framed and matted drawings and two paintings. Each work has been reproduced into prints. Each print is available in two different sizes. The original set of art work is also for sale. As the art work portrays a journey where fear and suffering transforms into freedom and joy, my hope is to reach as many people as possible that can relate to my work and through it open their minds and senses to the positive aspects of their own personal journeys.

"Casanna Design Jewelry Design" -Founded
Moved to Rhode Island. Began Focusing my Art on the marriage of Functionality and Design. Sculpting in the Jewelry medium allowed me the opportunity to create the graceful movements of three dimensional dancing figures. The figures were hinged in a marionette fashion, so that each piece of jewelry appeared to dance.
Painting Returned to painting as a medium, and showed works in local Art Galleries.
Floor Cloths
After some exploration I once again found a marriage of functionality and design working in the medium of the “Floor Cloths”. Created on an individual commission basis. Floor cloths date from 14 th century France. They are painted on an extremely heavy-grade canvas using acrylic paints that are finished with 15 clear coats of a protective finish that is both durable and washable. The size, subject matter and color range is limitless. Please contact me to discuss the possibilities for your personalized floor cloth.
Interior Decorating

Artist Statment:
As an artist my goal is to share the common emotional struggles shared by all. It is through the expressive posturing and electric facial expressions of my drawings and paintings I am able to convey the emotional struggles, triumphs, joys, and achievements we each encounter in our lives. It is the simplicity of the drawings that allows the impact of their message to shine through. Each person is able to relate to my work in their own way, taking from it what they need. My work becomes very personal to each viewer meaning different things to each person, disturbing sometimes, but always thought provoking and emotionally charged.
Ideas and emotions are received from ones environment. An Artist opens themselves to feel and absorb this information. The creation of Art is the ability to edit and transform this raw material and then distribute it back to the environment from which it came. Each Artist edits this information in a different way. It is the strength of one interruption and conviction that allows us to create Art worth sharing.
